| Why Choose Reading Success? |
I have three grandchildren with dyslexia. Yet they are able to read and perform well in school.
Fortunately, we were able to learn a great deal and find answers as to how to help these children become successful. And I have been tutoring children, helping them learn to read after struggling, for nearly eight years now.
A dyslexic child often comes to believe he is "dumb." What we find is that he or she is often a bright child of significant intelligence who simply needed to be taught to read in a way the public schools did not know how to do. For example, my grandson's overall reading and comprehension are now at or above grade level despite serious dyslexia.
We have had the opportunity to help others informally find the answers they needed to help their children and families. Reading Success, LLC is our new endeavor to do that on an even larger scale, as we find the need to be overwhelming.
